Amit K. Vijapura, MD, is a general psychiatrist managing a group practice in Jacksonville, Florida.
He is also Principal Investigator for multiple phase III clinical trials at Amit Vijapura & Associates. In addition, Dr. Vijapura holds the title of Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Florida, University of North Florida, and Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy. He earned his medical degree from Shah Medical College in Jamnagar, India, and completed a residency in Psychiatry at Elmhurst City Hospital in Elmhurst, NY.

Dr. Vijapura is certified by the American College of Forensic Examiners, American Board of Adolescent Psychiatry, and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, and the Florida Psychiatric Society.

Dr. Vijapura is specializing in treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD adult and children. Addiction treatment (including Suboxone)

He is conducting multiple Phase III research studies for Depression, GAD (Anxiety), Bipolar disorder and Opioid addiction.
